Land-Based Literacy: Bringing Traditional Teachings into the Classroom

Throughout the summer, FHQTC Education developed two Land Based Literacy Tipi camps for families of the Treaty 4 nations. These camps offered a unique platform for sharing traditional teachings and knowledge, facilitated by various Knowledge Keepers from the FHQ bands. We invite you to explore these traditional teachings with us and discover literacy learning opportunities that can be brought back to the classroom.
