This session focuses on practical strategies to support teachers in addressing and enhancing student wellness in the classroom. Emery will share what she has drawn on that have been successful in the many First Nation schools she has worked with. Participants will explore effective techniques for encouraging emotional growth and will better understand the role mental wellness plays in students while in the school environment. By the end of the presentation, teachers will be equipped with employable skills to support their students’ overall well-being and foster a healthier, more resilient classroom community.
